Overview

The twin regions of an almost otherworldly Spain, with lush valleys, foggy forests, and soaring mountains that seem to be on another planet from the rest of the country, are nestled high in the country's northwest corner. Galicia is arguably as Celtic as it is Spanish, with a melancholy beauty working its charms. It is entwined in a wild romance with the roaring Atlantic Ocean. Asturias, the neighboring region to the right with an equally stunning terrain, takes pride in being the only region of Spain that has never been overrun by Islamic Moors, leaving behind a charming line of ancient, rural communities that date back well before the Middle Ages. Improve your reputation as a savvy tourist by taking a tailored Asturias Galicia Tour from Swastik Holiday, and explore this region of northwest Spain that is very different from all the stereotypes of Spain you have ever read.
