Recommended Itinerary

Day 1 & Day 2 Delhi – Haridwar – Guptkashi (Approx. 450 km | 10–12 hrs drive)

The journey begins with a late-night departure from New Delhi around 11:00 PM for Haridwar. Upon arrival early morning (around 4:00–5:00 AM), take a short break for tea and freshening up. Pilgrims can take a holy dip in the sacred Ganga River and attend the morning Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri.

Later, visit the renowned Mansa Devi Temple via ropeway or by foot. After regrouping at Har Ki Pauri parking, proceed towards Guptkashi around 9:00–10:00 AM, enjoying scenic views of mountains, rivers, and valleys along the route.

If time allows, visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple and Vishwanath Temple in Guptkashi. On arrival, check in to the hotel, enjoy dinner, and relax. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 03 Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Gaurikund – Kedarnath (30 km drive + 16–18 km trek)

Early morning, drive to Sonprayag, the last point for private vehicles. From Sonprayag, take a local shared jeep to Gaurikund, the starting point of the Kedarnath trek.

Begin the 16–18 km trek to Kedarnath Temple on foot or hire a pony/palki at your own expense. The trekking route offers breathtaking Himalayan landscapes and a spiritual atmosphere. After reaching Kedarnath, check in to the allotted accommodation (guesthouse/tent).

In the evening, attend the Kedarnath Temple Aarti and seek blessings of Lord Shiva. Overnight stay in Kedarnath.

Day 04 Kedarnath – Gaurikund – Sonprayag – Guptkashi

Early morning, attend the temple Aarti and perform Darshan. After breakfast, trek down to Gaurikund and take a local jeep back to Sonprayag. Continue the drive to Guptkashi.

On arrival, check in to the hotel, enjoy dinner, and relax. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 05 Guptkashi – Rishikesh – Delhi (Drop)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the return journey to Delhi. En route, visit Laxman Jhula and explore the holy town of Rishikesh.

Continue driving towards Delhi and reach by late evening or night with divine blessings and cherished memories of the Kedarnath Yatra.
