Overview

Kozhikode is located in Kerala, India's southernmost state. From Kozhikode to Kashmir, there is no direct aeroplane or train. From Kozhikode, you can fly or take the rail to Srinagar. Vehicles are the only way to get to Kashmir from Srinagar. There are currently two mode of travel available to you: bus and car. Every year, a big number of tourists come from Kozhikode, Kerala, to Kashmir to take in the natural beauty.

Recommended Itinerary

Day 01 Arrival in Delhi (Check-in time at the hotel is 12 p.m.)

Our representative will meet you at the Delhi International Airport and transport you to the hotel of your choice. Spend the time you have left doing something fun. I'm staying in a hotel for the night.

Day 02 Delhi – Srinagar (by flight)

Second day of Kashmir tour package from Kozhikode, after breakfast, transfer to Delhi Airport to board your flight to Srinagar. Make a houseboat booking when you arrive. Srinagar is a city in India's Jammu and Kashmir state. Shikhara is located on the Dal Lake (boat). After lunch on the houseboat, go on a half-day city tour/sightseeing tour in Srinagar. This gorgeous city in the Kashmir Valley is famed for its gardens, lakes, and houseboats (also called shikaras).

The Mughal Garden, Nishat Bagh (Spring Garden), and Shalimar Bagh are among the sights to see. In the evening, take a Shikara ride around Dal Lake. Return to the houseboat for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03 Srinagar – Gulmarg (55 kilometers one way, 2 hr drive)

Third day of Kashmir tour package from Kozhikode, go on a full-day Gulmarg trip after breakfast on the houseboat. The most picturesque winter resort is Gulmarg Snow, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, India valley. It is famous for having the highest golf course in the world as well as winter skiing. Day 04 Srinagar – Pahalgam (90 kilometers one way, 3.5 hours)

Day 05 Srinagar – Delhi (by flight) – Travel to Jaipur (245 kms, 5.5 hrs drive)

Fifth day of Kashmir tour from Kozhikode, after breakfast on the houseboat, depart for Srinagar Airport to catch your aircraft to New Delhi. When you arrive in Delhi, take a cab to Jaipur. Jaipur, Rajasthan's state capital, is also known as the "Pink City." Arrive late in the evening and make a hotel reservation. Spend the time you have left doing something fun. Staying in a hotel for the night.

Day 06 Jaipur – full day city tour - Hawa Mahal, Jaipur, Rajasthan

Sixth day of Kashmir tour from Kozhikode, after breakfast, go on an adventure. At Amber Fort, learn about the Rajput monarchs' former abode. On your way there, stop see the Palace of Winds, often known as the Hawa Mahal. From its magnificent facade, the royal ladies enjoyed watching the daily events on the street below. Visit City Palace in the afternoon, a well-known monument that encompasses one-seventh of the city. Visit the Maharaja of Jaipur's JantarMantar, or Astronomical Observatory. It has also been added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. At local markets, you can buy souvenirs, traditional Rajasthani apparel, skilled art craft, handicraft, and other regional items. Staying in a hotel for the night.

Day 07 Jaipur – Agra (245 kilometres, 5 hours)

Seventh day of Kashmir tour from Kozhikode, after breakfast at the hotel, drive to Agra (245 kilometres, 4.5/5 hours). When you arrive, book a hotel room. Visit the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Agra, India - FatehpurSikrien route. In the late 16th century, the Great Mughal Emperor Akbar utilised this abandoned red sandstone city as his capital and palace. Other local tourist attractions include BulandDarwaza, Jama Masjid, Salim Chishti's Tomb, Diwan-i-Aam, Panch Mahal, and others.

Arrive in the afternoon and check into a hotel. After you've rested, go on a half-day city tour that includes a visit to the Taj Mahal. Agra Fort, which was built in 1630 by Mughal emperor Shahjahan to shelter the mortal remains of his beloved Queen Mumtaz, is then visited. Spend time shopping and engaging in recreational activities. Return to the hotel where you'll be staying for the night. (On Fridays, the Taj Mahal is closed.)

Day 08 Agra – Delhi - Qutub Minar in Delhi, India (200 km, 4 hours)

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and travel to New Delhi. By lunchtime, tourists would arrive in Delhi. See India Gate (War Memorial), President's House, Parliament House, Secretariat Building, and QutabMinar on a half-day city tour. After exploring local markets, spend the remainder of your afternoon shopping and engaging in recreational activities. Before travelling to your destination from Delhi International Airport, have dinner at a neighborhood restaurant. Kashmir draws the historic Golden Triangle Tour to a close.
