Recommended Itinerary

Day 01 Arrival. Reception at Srinagar airport/bus station

Our agent will meet you at the airport or bus station in Srinagar and transport you to a hotel or houseboat on Dal Lake in Srinagar for an overnight stay.

Day 02 Srinagar – Tulail (6 hrs drive)

Second days of Kashmir tour package from Calicut, we go early in the morning for TulailGurez by automobile. The journey is an adventure in and of itself. We arrive in Bandipora after driving along the Jehlum River and Wular Lake. We next travel via Tragbal Hill Station and across Razdan Pass into Gurez Valley. We arrive at Badogam, Tulail, after driving through distant settlements. For an overnight stay, we tent beside the riverbank in a little hamlet near Wazrithal village.

Day 03 Wazrithal – Joginai (6 hours trek)

Third days of Kashmir tour packages from Calicut, we load our belongings onto horses and begin our journey. Our trail winds through a pine/birch forest and meadows, and is slightly steep. After a moderate descent to Butimali, we resume our ascent to Joginai, where we will spend the night.

Day 04 Joginai – Satsar Lakes – Megandoab (6 hrs trek)

Fourth days of Kashmir tour from Calicut, We leave Joginai and soon begin ascending the Joginai Pass, one of the highest passes on the route (3950m). To go to Jawdara, we have to descend it. We enter the Rasbal Valley after crossing a creek, where a running river disappears beneath. We continue our journey past seven small Satsar lakes before setting up camp at Megandoab in the foothills of Zajibal's second pass for the night.

Day 05 Satsar – Gangabal lake (6 hrs trek)

Fifth days of Calicut to Kashmir tour package, 'Zajibal Pass (4180m)' is the final and highest pass of our expedition. When we reach the top, the sights and beauty of Mount Haramukh (5300m) and the twin gorgeous alpine lakes of Gangabal and Nundkol make us forget about our exhaustion. We descend the pass to Gangabal Lake, where we will spend the night.

Day 06 Day at leisure

Take a short walk to the adjacent lake of Kolesar or explore the twin lakes of Gangabal and Nundkol.

Day 07 Gangabal – Naranag. (6 hrs trek)

We leave Gangabal and Nundkol Lakes and travel across the Trunkol meadows before descending to Naranag hamlet through the Bodpathri pine forest. Our walk comes to an end here. We get in our car and travel back to a hotel or houseboat in Srinagar for the night.

Day 08 Departure day.

You will be dropped off at the airport or bus station by our agent.
