Pickup from Dharamshala Bus Stand. Drive to Kareri Village. Later start trek from Kareri Village to Riyoti. A beautiful open grassland located in the banks of Nyund stream. The trek to Riyoti is quite challenging. The trail will take you along a brook, which you will come across multiple times. Over Night stay at Riyoti.
start your trek to most scenic lake of Kanga Valley. You will enter a narrow path flanked by towering mountains with a river gushing in the middle. Later, you will be hiking through a rocky trail while enjoying the views of beautiful views of flowers and vegetation. Today's excursion ends at Kareri Lake. The lake is situated amidst flourishing meadows, from where you will be able to see Baleni Pass and Minkiani Pass. overnight stay at Kareri Lake.
The toughest day of the trek. You will be challenged physically as you will be ascending a lot higher, up to 14000 feet. Trek for about 4.5 km to reach the top of Minkiani Pass. Explore the pass and enjoy the views of surrounding snowy mountains. After spending some time here, you will retrace your path back to Kareri Lake. Over Night Stay.
Start easy down trek to Kareri Village. Later drop at Dharamshala.
