Day 01 Arrival in Bagdogra to Phuntsholing

When you arrive in Bagdograwe, someone will greet you and take you to Phuntsholing Bhutan, where you can complete your tourist visiting permit at the border town's immigration office. You can later take a stroll through the town. Phuntsholingover night at 150 m asl.

Day 02 Phuntsholing to Thimphu

Drive the six hours from Phuentsholing to Thimphu. Be prepared with your cameras at all times since, despite the long and exhausting ride, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the varied greenery that Bhutan is so well known for. If time allows, continue your sightseeing after arriving.

Day 03 Thimphu Sightseeing

Visit Memorial Chorten (a temple), which was constructed in 1974 in honour of Bhutan's third king. Visit the recently constructed 51-meter-tall Buddha statue next, which is facing east and offers a panoramic view of the entire city of Thimphu. Visit Takin Reserve Centre to see Bhutan's national animal, then visit Changangkha Lhakhang, one of the valley's oldest temples. Visit the weekend market (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) after lunch. Day 04 Thimphu to Punakha

Day 07 Hike to Tiger’s Nest / Make an day excursion to Chelela Pass (Approx1hr)

After breakfast, take a 25-minute drive to the temple's base camp to begin your walk to the Tiger's Nest complex, the most venerated temple in the nation that literally hangs from a granite cliff overlooking the Paro valley.
