Begin with an airport pickup in Guwahati, followed by a drive to Nameri for a night amidst nature. Visit Nameri National Park and then travel to Dirang, known for its birdwatching and monasteries. Journey to Tawang via the stunning Sela Pass, stopping at Jaswant Garh and Nuranang Falls. Explore Zemithang, home to the Gorchem Chorten stupa and black-necked cranes. Enjoy sightseeing around Tawang, including Shonga-tser Lake and Bum La Pass. Continue to Bomdila for its monastery and market, and end your journey with sightseeing in Tezpur before returning to Guwahati.
Upon your arrival at Guwahati train station or airport, Swastik Holiday agent will greet you and assist you to your assigned car. You will then embark on a 240 km journey to Nameri, which will take approximately 5 hours. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and settle in for the night.
In the morning, enter Nameri National Park to observe wildlife such as tigers, birds, and other animals in their natural habitat. The park is home to over 300 species of birds, including the endangered "White Winged Wood Duck." After breakfast, travel to Zemithang, a beautiful highland region about 100 kilometers from Tawang, located at the farthest point in the Tawang district near the China-Bhutan border. Return to your hotel in Bomdila for an overnight stay.
Travel to Tezpur from Bomdila in the morning. Tezpur is an ancient city rich in mythology and historical significance, situated on the southern bank of the Brahmaputra River. Upon arrival, visit some of the most historically significant local tourist attractions, including Agnigarh, the Cole Park, temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, and the stunning Brahmaputra ghats. Check into your hotel in Tezpur for an overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the Guwahati airport or train station for your return journey. Reflect on the wonderful memories of your tour as you travel back.
