Recommended Itinerary

Day 01 Dibrugarh to Ziro (259 km / approx. 6 hours drive)

Upon your early arrival in Dibrugarh, our representative will meet you, and we will begin our scenic drive to Ziro Valley. The journey will take us through Dhemaji, North Lakhimpur District, Kimin, and New Palin. We will cross India's longest railroad bridge, the Landmark Bridge, spanning 259 kilometers along Assam's north bank. Once we arrive in Ziro, we will check into a well-known homestay. After settling in, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the local market and take in the breathtaking scenery. Relax with tea or a snack, and after dinner, retire for the night.

Day 02Explore Ziro Valley

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a comprehensive tour of the tranquil Ziro Valley. Key attractions include the Meghna Cave Temple, Kile Pakho, Midey, Ziro Puto, Dolo Mando, Hapoli, Dilopolyang Maniipolyang, and the Tipi Orchid Research Center. These sites offer a glimpse into the valley's cultural and natural beauty. Note that local guides are necessary and their fees range from Rs. 1000 to Rs. 2500. After a fulfilling day of exploration, enjoy dinner and head to bed.

Day 03Ziro to Pasighat (313 km / approx. 8 hours drive)

After breakfast, we will set out for Pasighat. This journey will take approximately 8 hours, covering 313 kilometers. Upon arrival in Pasighat, we will check into the hotel. In the evening, visit Ranaghat and the Siang River Bank to soak in the local scenery. Spend the night in Pasighat.

Day 04Pasighat to Aalo (102 km / approx. 3.5 hours drive)

Begin your day with breakfast, and if you haven't already, visit the Siang River to enjoy its breathtaking views. Continue your journey to Aalo, a 102-kilometer drive that will take approximately 3.5 hours. Upon arrival, check into a comfortable homestay. In the evening, explore the local market and take in the scenic views from your homestay. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Aalo.

Day 05Aalo to Basar (53 km / approx. 2.5 hours drive)

After breakfast, we will drive to Basar, an adventurer’s paradise located 53 kilometers away. Basar offers thrilling experiences such as exploring bat caves, river walks, and visiting eerie jungle locations. Upon arrival, explore the Bat Cave, navigating through fences with steps carved from thin wooden logs, crossing bamboo bridges, and traversing rice fields with bamboo granaries. Return to the village for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a trekking adventure across a river with icy cold water and biting pebbles, or opt for a village tour to meet the Galo people and capture unforgettable memories. Return to Aalo for the night.

Day 06Aalo to Mechuka (187 km / approx. 6.8 hours drive)

After breakfast, embark on a journey to Mechuka, known as the Shangri-La of Arunachal Pradesh. The drive covers 187 kilometers and takes approximately 6.8 hours. Along the way, stop for lunch and admire the splendor of the Siko-Dido waterfalls. Upon arrival in Mechuka, check into a homestay and take an evening stroll through the town. Enjoy a dinner featuring regional cuisine and retire for the night.

Day 07Mechuka Sightseeing

Following breakfast, visit the Neh Chenden Takp pilgrimage and Samden Yangcha monastery. These sites offer spiritual solace and breathtaking views. Spend the night at your homestay in Mechuka.

Day 08Mechuka Exploration

Start the day with breakfast, then visit the holy waterfall at Neh Pemshubu Pilgrimage, the Meditation Cave, the Lucky Stone, the Holy Water Drop, the Gurudwara, Hanuman’s Face, and Yorlung View, which overlooks the Chinese border. After a day of exploration, return to your homestay for an overnight stay.

Day 09Mechuka to Aalo (187 km / approx. 6.8 hours drive)

After breakfast, drive back to Aalo. Stop for lunch and take in the beauty of the Siko-Dido waterfalls along the way. Check into your homestay in Aalo and spend the night.

Day 10Aalo to Dibrugarh (253 km / approx. 6.9 hours drive)

Following breakfast, embark on your return journey to Dibrugarh. Along the way, visit the local market and have lunch at Pasighat. Stop by the Siang River Rapids for one last scenic view. Upon arrival in Dibrugarh, check into your hotel. You will be dropped off at the airport according to your scheduled flight the next day, marking the end of your tour.
