Best Time to Visit
This hike is best that can enjoy from mid-June to mid-October. As a Travel agency in Mumbai, we will encounter a lot of snow on the high passes in the early days of the season, but this will diminish significantly by August. As the season progresses, we may have rain in the Kullu-Manali valley, but bright days will prevail in Spiti. The days will be sunny and warm (12-20 °C), while the night temperatures will be in the range of -2 to 6 °C at the highest campsite.
There is relatively little snow on the path in the later part of the season (Sep – mid-Oct) and decent weather throughout, but there is a chance of snowfall. The days are sunny, with temperatures ranging from 12 to 18 degrees Celsius; however, as October progresses, the evenings become cooler, and the nights become colder (- 6 to 4 degrees Celsius).
